Mary Barry and Geri Brooks - Folk Singers

"Fortunate is the songwriter whose material is interpreted by this delightful duo" - Lori Holland

Welcome to our new website.

It's still a work in progress, but we wanted to get it up and running so that you could have a place to see what we've been up to, and to hear samples from our new CD, The Old York Road.

The Old York Road

Mary Barry and Geri Brooks started singing together in the New York City area over 20 years ago. Born in Manhattan, New Yorker, Geri wouldn't live anywhere else.

But in 1991 Mary married and re-located to her new husband's hometown of Philadelphia, Pa. to be near his then 10-year old daughter, Beth. Their next move was to Hatboro, Pa and finally to Lambertville, NJ, where she and husband, Rich, own a spectacular bed and breakfast - The Martin Coryell House.

Geri just celebrated her 30th anniversary at The Hebrew Home at Riverdale, NY, where she continues to serve as Director of Physical Therapy.

The "Old York Road" was an important stage coach route that connected Philadelphia to New York City, with stops in Hatboro, Pa and Lambertville, NJ.

While "geographically challenged" these past sixteen years, Mary and Geri stayed connected, driving many an hour along the highways that were at one time this historic stage coach route.

Symbolically linked by "The Old York Road" for many years, Mary and Geri have remained friends and singing partners and are pleased to finally have a new album of songs to share with their friends.

The CD Release Party is set for Sunday, May 18, 2008. Get all of the info here
